Open Question: Itchy in the backside, hemorrhoids?

I am a 20 year old guy. I am really embarrassed to ask this question, but it has come to a point where I need help. It started out as severe itchiness and then there was a small hard bump. I learned that Desitin would help relieve the itchiness because it contained zinc oxide. With Desitin the bump disappeared, but the itch did not go away. Sometimes the urge to scratch gets way too strong and when I scratch it comes back even stronger five seconds later. The itch alone has been going on for about for about 2 months,but now there is a little blood every Stool movement. The itching is getting worse. I am also noticing what looks like scar tissue. I have always been really clean back there, I would wash after every washroom use ever since I was a kid. Since these are my only symptoms I have not come to any other conclusion,but hemorrhoids. Can hemorrhoids last this long ( 2 months)? There was a change In my lifestyle right before this occurred, I started standing long hours because of work and i also sat on concrete for about 20 mins a day.I try to avoid sitting on hard surfaces now. I dont want to see a doctor, but if nothing works im gonna have to. Please Help. Thank you.
